How to Add a Sub-Item Group
Before You Start
Sub-Item Groups allow you to organise related Items together within a Quote. This can make larger Quotes easier to read and manage by grouping Items under a common heading.
Step 1 - Navigate to the Items Tab
- Open your Quote.
- Select the Items tab.

Step 2 - Add a Sub-Item Group
- Click + Sub-Item Group.
- Enter a name for the Sub-Item Group.
- Add the required Services, Materials, Instruments, Consumables or other Items into the group.
- Edit the quantities, pricing and descriptions as required.
- Click Save.
Best Practice
- In most cases, it's easier to start with a Composed Item, as it can be saved and reused from your Inventory.
- Use Sub-Item Groups when you simply want to organise Items within the current Quote.
- If you create a group that you'll use again, consider converting it into a Composed Item for future reuse.
Summary
- Open your Quote.
- Select the Items tab.
- Click + Sub-Item Group.
- Enter a name for the Sub-Item Group.
- Add the required details.
- Edit the quantities, pricing and descriptions.
- Click Save.
