How to find a job when you cannot remember its scheduled date
If a job is not in the Job Queue, it must be scheduled somewhere in the calendar, regardless of its current status.
Instead of searching through the calendar one date at a time, you can find the job through the Jobs List and then display its calendar events.

Find the job through the Jobs List
-
Open the Jobs List.
Search using any of the following:
- Job number.
- Client name.
- Location name.
- If you have an idea of when the job may have been scheduled, apply a date range to narrow the results.
- Open the correct job.
Searching by job number will usually give you the most precise result.
View the job’s repetitions, events and splits
If the job has been divided into multiple repetitions, events, calendar blocks or splits:
- Open Conditions and Details within the job.
-
Review the different repetitions and related events.
You will see:
- The next three upcoming events.
- The root job.
- The related job numbers and events.
- Open the related job number you want to view.
- Select View in Calendar.
The calendar will then display only the events associated with that related job number. This makes it easier to see all the calendar blocks and splits for that part of the job without unrelated jobs appearing around them.
Important note
View in Calendar only shows events belonging to the related job number you selected.
If the overall job or project contains multiple related job numbers, you may need to return to Conditions and Details, select a different related number and then use View in Calendar again.
What if I still cannot find the job?
First, confirm that you have searched the Jobs List using the:
- Job number.
- Client name.
- Location name.
If the job appears in the Jobs List but its expected events do not appear after selecting View in Calendar, contact JGID Support and provide:
- The job number.
- The client and location name.
- The related job number you opened.
- The approximate scheduled date, if known.
- A screenshot or screen recording showing what you can see.
