Managing Your User Account

Overview

Your User Account contains your personal login and security settings.

From here, you can update your personal details, manage your password, enable additional security features and view the devices you're currently signed in on.

To access your User Account:

  1. Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
  2. Select your name.
  3. Click Manage Account.

Update Your Personal Details

You can update your:

  • Profile photo
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Email address

Keeping your details up to date helps ensure you receive important notifications and password reset emails.

Change Your Password

You can change your password at any time from your User Account.

For the best security, choose a strong password that is unique to your JGID account.

Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security by requiring a verification code when signing in.

Even if someone discovers your password, they won't be able to access your account without your second authentication method.

Add a Passkey

If your device supports Passkeys, you can add one to your account.

Passkeys provide a faster and more secure way to sign in without needing to remember your password.

Manage Your Devices

Your User Account shows the devices and browser sessions currently signed in to JGID.

If you no longer trust a device, you can sign out of it remotely.

You can also choose to trust devices that you regularly use.

Log Out of Other Devices

If you believe someone else may have access to your account, you can log out of all other active sessions.

This signs you out everywhere except the device you're currently using.

Manage Notifications

You can control which notifications you receive for the device you're currently using.

Push notifications are generally most reliable on mobile devices.

Desktop notifications may be affected by browser settings, pop-up blockers or notification permissions.

API Token (Administrators Only)

If you're an administrator, your User Account also provides access to your JGID API Token.

This token is used when integrating JGID with other software or custom applications.

Permanently Delete Your Account

Your User Account includes the option to permanently delete your account.

Deleting your account cannot be undone and may result in the loss of access to historical information.

We recommend contacting your company administrator or JGID Support before deleting your account.
