Set Up Your Company Profile

Overview

Before creating your first Client or Quote, it's worth taking a few minutes to configure your company details.

These details are used throughout JGID and may appear on Quotes, Invoices, reports and other business records.

Don't worry about configuring every setting right now. You can always return later and make changes as your business grows.

What Should I Configure?

As a minimum, we recommend reviewing:

  • Company Name
  • Business Address
  • Contact Details
  • Company Logo
  • Quote Footer
  • Invoice Footer with Bank Details

This provides a solid foundation for the rest of your setup.

Keep It Simple

It's tempting to spend hours configuring every available setting before using the software.

Our recommendation is different.

Configure only the essentials needed to begin using JGID, then continue with the Getting Started guide.

You can always return later to fine-tune your settings as you become more familiar with the system.

Why Managers Love This

Getting the basic company information right from the beginning helps ensure a consistent, professional appearance across your business documents.

By avoiding unnecessary setup during onboarding, your team can begin using JGID sooner and learn the software using real business data.

Best Practice

  • Connect Xero and your Cloud storage before doing anything
  • Add your company logo early.
  • Double-check your business contact details.
  • Confirm your currency and tax settings.
  • Don't delay your implementation trying to configure every option.
  • Continue through the onboarding guide and return to advanced settings later if required.

Next Step

Your company is now ready.
