Starring Tasks
Overview
Sometimes a Task needs to stand out.
Starring a Task provides a simple way to highlight important or urgent work.
When to Star a Task
Consider starring Tasks that are:
- Urgent.
- High priority.
- Time critical.
- Requiring immediate attention.
A starred Task remains easy to identify whether you're viewing a Task Board or using the Filter View.
Combining Stars with Filters
Starred Tasks become even more useful when combined with the Filter View.
For example, you can quickly display:
- All starred Tasks.
- Your own starred Tasks.
- Starred Tasks due today.
- Starred Tasks on a particular Board.
This provides an instant view of the work requiring the highest attention.
Best Practice
- Reserve stars for genuinely important Tasks.
- Avoid starring everything.
- Combine starred Tasks with Due Dates and Filters for maximum visibility.
