Understanding the Quote List
Overview
The Quote List provides a complete history of quotations created in JGID.
It allows you to quickly locate quotes, monitor their progress through your sales pipeline and review historical pricing, costs and profitability.
Whether you're following up pending quotes or analysing sales performance, the Quote List provides a central place to manage your quotations.
What Information Is Displayed?
Depending on your configuration, the Quote List may include information such as:
- JGID Quote ID
- Alternative ID
- Created Date
- Pending Date
- Approved Date
- Declined Date
- Superseded Date
- Quote Status
- Client
- Location
- Quote Title
- Estimated Cost (ex GST)
- Estimated Profit (ex GST)
- Quote Total (inc GST)
This information makes it easy to search, sort and review quotations across your business.
Quote Statuses
The Quote List displays quotes regardless of their current status.
This may include:
- Draft
- Pending
- Approved
- Declined
- Superseded
This provides a complete history of every quotation created, allowing you to review previous pricing decisions and customer interactions.
Quote Versions
When a quote is revised, JGID creates a new version rather than overwriting the original.
Each version is retained as part of the quote's history, making it easy to see how the quotation evolved over time.
Keeping previous versions provides a clear audit trail and allows you to compare earlier pricing, scope and revisions.
Finding Previous Quotes
The Quote List is useful when you need to:
- Locate a specific quote.
- Review a customer's quotation history.
- Check the current status of a quote.
- Compare previous quote versions.
- Review estimated costs and profitability.
- Find previously approved or declined quotations.
Why Managers Love the Quote List
